A perfect storm is brewing in Cleveland Ohio for
the RNC and it has nothing to do with the weather.
The following article is meant to educate you about just a few of the groups that may cause violence in Cleveland, Ohio. Many people are talking about what is expected to be a violent event in Cleveland and I thought it would be prudent to introduce those of you who are planning to go, to a few of the groups you might encounter.
There will be many groups representing in this protest and listed here are only a few. While not all of these groups are dangerous just their mere presence at this convention will be enough to provoke another group to become violent.
According to Brietbart; The convention and the national stage promises to attract a myriad of groups, with agendas that range from white supremacy to in-your-face body art. The groups include the American Freedom Party and Blood & Honour, whose members are white nationalists, along with skinheads and the Westboro Baptist Church, a Kansas-based congregation known for picketing funerals with signs arguing that accepting gay rights has doomed America to be punished. An effort called “Everything She Says Means Everything” is working to have 100 naked women gather outside the convention site, while a bus full of about 21 nuns will also be in town serving lemonade to crowds and asking delegates about their fears for this election cycle.
If you plan to go to the RNC even as an actual attendee, I might suggest you – take precautions for your own safety.
KEY RALLY ORGANIZERS LEFT & RIGHT – WHO TO WATCH
Malik Zulu Shabazz (born Paris Lewis in 1966) is an American attorney and former National Chairman of the New Black Panther Party. He is the current National President of Black Lawyers for Justice, which he co-founded.
Militant-based black activist Malik Zulu Shabazz said today;
“I will be surprised if Donald Trump ever takes to the podium to speak during the RNC”
Is this statement a threat to Trump? – Knowing Malik as I do, “You bet it is”
While “Black Lives Matter” certainly knows how to throw down a violent protest – It pales in contrast with what Shabazz can do. There is a radicalized muslim presence in the united states that is hardly recognized by the Right and Shabazz is a leader in that movement. Malik was raised in a middle class family and was introduced to the Nation of Islam at a very young age; the Muslim faith coupled with the idea that no black man is treated as an equal in The United States – makes Malik Shabazz a very dangerous man.
Pete and I met Malik Shabazz last year in Baltimore, and even though we had him as a guest on The Pete Santilli Show, and thought we had a pretty good idea of who he was, we still couldn’t help but be amazed at how he rallied the crowd of a hundred or so and turned it into a crowd of a 1,000 in a matter of hours.
That rally ended with a thousand angry people in downtown Baltimore who proceeded to shutdown a Oriels game – become confrontational with law enforcement [throwing of water bottles at police] vandalizing of police vehicles – and lots of tear gas.
Malik’s operational strategy in Cleveland will begin by rallying the people a few days before the RNC, and as he claims to be conducting a peaceful rally in the end, that rally will turn out to be anything but peaceful. Shabazz is a brilliant attorney who knows how to use a good disclaimer. As he did in Baltimore, you can expect him to incite the crowd to riot and then conveniently become “MIA” when the violence goes down.
The NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE OPPRESSED – BLACK UNITY CONVENTION will be four powerful, productive days of organizing Black Power and self-determination for all oppressed peoples of color in America.
This historic gathering and summit is organized for leaders of the resistence movement against racism and injustice in America today; such racism, injustice and facism is personified in Presidential Candidate Donald Trump.
SHUT DOWN TRUMP: NATIONAL MARCH AND RALLY AGAINST RACISM, INJUSTICE AND WHITE SUPREMACY
KANSAS BASED WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH
According to official documents Westboro Baptist Church members plan to use the “speaker’s platform” on July 19 on Public Square. The group also requested a permit to demonstrate on July 20 at Perk Plaza park near Superior Avenue and East 12th Street, one of two parks set aside by the city for protesters. Cleveland police say they will have to keep a close eye on the group because its ugliness typically draws large counter-protests.
Because the City of Cleveland has restricted protest staging areas, and will allow only preset marching routes, the Westboro Baptist Church will be thrown in the mix in close proximity of other militant leftist groups they routinely harass, but also military and more Right leaning groups they often protest by attending funerals of fallen Soldiers. The Westboro Baptist Church incites hate wherever they go and will prove to be a thorn in the side of both the left and right during these protests.
THE REVEREND AL SHARPTON
Famous race-baiter, The Reverend Al Sharpton, canceled his planned March against the RNC in lite of the Dallas shooting, but don’t take his word for it. Like Malik Shabazz, Sharpton hardly ever shows up and participates in the actual violence at the end of these marches that he helps organize. So his presence is hardly the point. If the AHF had wanted a peaceful gathering they would not have invited Al Sharpton to lead their way in the first place.
During last year’s protest in May, “Guerrilla Media Network” traveled to Cleveland to attend a Rally featuring the Reverend and he promised violence for the coming Republican National Convention; Just because he is not going to be there, does not mean his organization will not participate and still be a strong influence on protest goers .
The event’s sponsor, The AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the Los Angeles-based international organization that provides HIV/AIDS medical care and advocacy, said it has decided to cancel the march in light of Thursday’s shooting deaths of five Dallas police officers who were monitoring demonstrations in that city. The group still plans to hold a free program and concert featuring the band, The Roots and other musicians, celebrities and speakers inside the Wolstein Center on Cleveland State University’s campus. The event is dubbed, “Keep the Promise.”
It must be pointed out that while these groups profess to be benign, they frequently use the term “peaceful” as a blanketed excuse for probable deniability when violence breaks out. Al Sharpton is never involved in a peaceful gathering. Never.
THE NEW BLACK PANTHER PARTY
Guerilla Media Network has met this group up close and personal a few times, and they mean business. From their military posture – no smile, no nonsense approach – to their cold untrusting eyes on you, it doesn’t take long to assess you need to mind your p’s and q’s around these guys. They certainly do hate white people as a whole, and us being white made the task of getting to know these guys pretty daunting. We had to settle on the fact that they did not like us being around, and they did not trust us being around. We were not armed with guns and ammo – we had something better – it seems guns are not the great neutralizer when it comes to dealing with this militant group – all we needed was our camera.
With that said, let me point out something much, much different in the Cleveland vs Baltimore debate; In Baltimore the Party was not armed – in Cleveland they will be.
The chairman of the New Black Panther Party, said his group will carry arms for self-defense during protests at the Republican convention next week if allowed under Ohio law.
“If it is an open state to carry, we will exercise our Second Amendment rights because there are other groups threatening to be there that are threatening to do harm to us,” Hashim Nzinga, chairman of the New Black Panther Party, told Reuters in an interview.
“If that state allows us to bear arms, the Panthers and the others who can legally bear arms will bear arms.”
Official’s in Cleveland have said that the Black Panthers and any other legal to carry persons will be permitted to carry outside the Convention. Several other groups, including some supporters of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, have said they will carry weapons in protests as well.
STEWART RHODES – OATHKEEPERS
While not typically violent this group is still worth the mention. I have seen no official statement from Stewart Rhodes about attending the Cleveland RNC, I have seen many who carry the organization’s banner planning to go. It is no secret many of Oathkeeper’s members and or their affiliated groups are huge supporters of Donald Trump.
After the killing of Police Officers last week in Dallas Texas Stewart Rhodes had this to say;
Therefore, I call on all Oath Keepers, and all patriotic Americans, to come to the aid of their local police, and to the aid of their communities, and unite and coordinate in mutual defense against this orchestrated campaign of Marxist terrorism, which is the modern version of the wave of terrorism we saw in the late 60s and early 70s by the Marxist Weather Underground and related groups (who also frequently targeted police), along with the closely related Jihadist terrorism offensive, with Orlando being merely the latest in an ongoing wave of attacks. What is now needed, more than ever, is the reestablishment of the militia of the people, trained, equipped and organized in each town, to defend against what is now clearly a “Tet Offensive” American style, as Navy SEAL veteran Matt Bracken warned. While we work to reestablish that militia system, you must go armed at all times, and be prepared, at all times, to defend your community against these Marxist terrorists as well as their Islamist terror allies. Remember, they are in league, and you are their common enemy and their common targets. ~ Stewart Rhodes
Nowhere else will the threat of “Marxist terrorism” be more thought about than at the RNC. I would expect a heavy show of armed support for Trump in Cleveland by The Oathkeepers whether it be cohesive or not — and a real time threat for much contention between them and the New Black Panther Party. OathKeepers is not expected to cause violence but will be a target.
While Militia attendance is expected to happen at the RNC, plans are being quietly made that have not reached the public as of yet. I do know there are rumors that several groups who plan to make the trip from across the Country.
The plan is to be peaceful but we will be armed to protect Convention goers and Trump supporters, says one unnamed source.
Bikers For Trump
Bikers for Trump say they aren’t going to Cleveland looking to cause trouble but will be on hand to counter thousands of professional leftwing agitators planning to disrupt the Republican nominating convention.
“We will be there to make sure that the delegates are allowed to exercise their right to peacefully assemble,” Bikers for Trump organizer Chris Cox has been quoted as saying;
“We’ve seen how these paid agitators have thrown eggs and gotten violent at other Trump events around the country and we’re not going to put up with it.”
The fact of the matter is we have become a nation of slaves… Now more than ever we need to come together as a nation and stand against tyranny and corruption. We need to stand against paid thugs and show them that things are done differently in America. If we don’t stand now, in Cleveland we are giving it to the third world thugs and will never get it back. We will soon be like every other cess pool of socialism or communism that these people are coming from and the things that we are so addicted to, that kept us from standing up will be gone and we will be powerless, living life the way we are told to live it. Our lives will be worthless and meaningless.
It’s unknown just how many Bikers for Trump members will show up in Cleveland next week but Cox said to expect a large and visible presence. This mix most definitely has a potential to cause some problems — meant or not.
PROPHETS OF RAGE
No respectful violent protest would be complete without a free concert and this years RNC is no different.
Dubbing it the “Make America Rage Again” concert – Prophets of Rage, the supergroup featuring members of Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy‘s Chuck D and Cypress Hill‘s B-Real, have revealed that they’ll be in Cleveland. “We’ll be rocking furiously in and around the RNC,” guitarist Tom Morello told Bloomberg Politics.
Morello gave a hint as to the atmosphere they intend to create during this concert;
“Well there’s a thing called the Republican National Convention in July, and that will be a perfect place for a band like Prophets of Rage to cause a ruckus, and we will be there on the streets, in the field,” Morello said. “We have a venue and there may be venues that will be spontaneous venues, it’s hard to say. This is the kind of thing you don’t broadcast to the local authorities prior to arrival.”
“Prophets of Rage combines the sonic power of Rage, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill. It’s my contention that we can no longer stand on the sidelines of history. Dangerous times demand dangerous songs,” Morello said. “Both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are both constantly referred to in the media as raging against the machine. We’ve come back to remind everyone what raging against the machine really means.”
Concert arena’s across the world know how hard it is to get these guys into a venue, because they cause so much destruction insurance companies refuse to insure them. One thing for sure – You can expect this show to bring thousands of people to the protest that would have not otherwise gone.
Morello never states who paid them to show, but you can bet someone did – and you can bet it also wasn’t cheap. You can expect the outcome of this event alone to cause a great deal of violence and destruction.BLACK LIVES MATTER
BLM is quite the enigma. They will fain peaceful protest but plan and then execute anything but. It is disruptive and sometimes highly offensive. There are good and bad apples in this organization, just like every other organization hell bent on being seen and heard, but BLM carries some weight and is recognized by the White House. This is the one group that comes to the RNC with a defined in your face agenda. While the BLM organization is highly trained at creating organized chaos, there is little doubt just how effective the organization can be. Chaos is there number one goal.
DeRay Mckeeson is a man Pete and I met last year in both Baltimore and again in Cleveland. DeRay is a calculating person who just mostly stands around and waits for the opportunity to be recognized.
Like a typical politician, and make no mistake, that is exactly what he is, Mr. McKeeson will show up just long enough for his photo op. I see his popularity has grown since we last spoke with him and he is now being invited to the White House to have chats with the POTUS.
The problem is that while his front BLM office may be organized – when they hit the street it’s a whole different story. After they have gathered thousands together and properly have them whipped into a manic frenzy, Black Lives Matter protesters are mostly left to “do what they do.”
The protesters themselves will range from a mix of street gang mentality throw away kids – Angry black adults and misguided anarchist, to Laraza. They will be a verbally and sometimes physically abusive crowd to Trump supporters, and at any time will be ready to battle if Law Enforcement shows any type of aggression. There will be those protestors who are friendly yes, but when the sun goes down and the good people go home, all hell will, and usually does break loose. There is no such thing as crowd control at these protest. Creating chaos, agitating their target, intimidating law enforcement and getting arrested is the number one goal.
Surprisingly this group has very little respect in the black community.
Patriot groups across the country took offense to the President’s meeting with DeRay Mckeeson yesterday as men and women in the Southwest are facing prison for staging a Wildlife Refuge Occupation, and for supporting Cliven Bundy, a Nevada Rancher, in his stand against the Bureau Of Land Management. Black Lives Matter organizers are openly stating they plan to shutdown a Federal event and disrupt the function of government by creating as much violent chaos as possible.
While usually a passive group outside of protest, nobody stirs the pot better than the anarchist. They have no political alliance and typically have no respect for law Enforcement. They show up at the party wearing mask or other creative clothing and face gear. They are there to cause trouble, incite the crowd, and confront the Police so they can film it for YouTube, that is their agenda. Out of all the groups this is the most notoriously dangerous and creative in their planning. On one of their official websites – Resist The 2016 RNC says this;
In the past Anarchists have had success in disrupting political conventions and with the republican front runner, Donald trump many believe this will be no different and even add to increased resistance and street protests in response to his recent racist and bigoted comments…
• Our solidarity should be based on respect for a diversity of tactics and the plans of other groups.
• Beware of Pre-Emptive Repression and Informants! This was used by the State in St. Paul before the convention there and included raid on organizers and people who had planned to attend demonstrations… There was also several informants who had infiltrated affinity groups and relayed information to federal Authorities on plans and comprised individuals Identities leading to harassment when they arrived in St. Paul….
in one case a federal informant entrapped an unfortunate protester into making Molotov cocktails… It is best to keep your lips tight on any actions you plan and to keep discussions on direct action and plans offline and only discuss it with people you trust and are planning on traveling with..
• Materials…. Matching clothing that conceals the wearers identities (BLACK) along with trust and communication is a recipe for success, Other materials could include different layers of clothing for different purposes or stages of the action… Defensive gear such as banners shields or bright lights (to obscure police or camera vision during night actions)… The possibilities are endless body armor or padding, gas masks or goggles and bandannas soaked in lime juice to deter both police chemical weapon and physical attacks…
• Provisions: water (plenty, especially if you’ll be dressed in hot gear or expect chemical weapons attacks), food (don’t rely on shops or shopkeepers in contested zones), etc.
•Don’t ask, don’t tell!
Don’t ask others to share confidential information you don’t need to know. Don’t brag about illegal things you or others have done, or mention things that are going to happen or might happen, or even refer to another person’s interest in being involved in such activities. Stay aware whenever you speak; don’t let chance allusions drop out… end page info
When people talk about outside agitators they are not talking about BLM per se — They are talking about Anarchist. There will be many of them. They will be a mix of some black but mostly white teenagers to mid-age adults, they are comprised of women and men and they will be violent. They will aggressively break the law and they will destroy the city if they can get away with it, and try to even if they can’t.
CLEVELAND RIOT POLICE AND THE NATIONAL GUARD
Poorly trained and over-worked, you can expect this group to be on edge. Although they will be highly restrained in the beginning, considering what happened in Dallas Texas you can still expect this faction to be aggressive at some point. I have seen how the Cleveland Riot Police work and it is not going to bode well with the Chaos crowd.
The RNC Convention has been designated as a National Special Security Event (NSSE). Many previous NSSEs have turned the host city into a police state for the duration of the event. Police officers in riot gear will be highly visible in the vicinity of the convention arena, snipers will be stationed on rooftops, helicopters will be assigned to patrol the area, and barriers will line the security perimeter. Police will conduct bag searches on public transportation leading to the downtown area and stop/search anyone approaching the Quicken Loans Arena.
The City of Cleveland had originally planned to field 4,000 uniformed officers with the assistance of Cincinnati, Denver, Greensboro and many other cities. This force has now dwindled to less than 1,000 with most of the major supporting cities pulling out. In their original plan, the city anticipated marches and protests of up to 20,000 people, now they estimate upwards to 100,000 conservatively to be attending.
With just 1,ooo officers to 100,000 angry protesters, many of them Anarchist, I have no clue how they will manage. I suspect the National Guard will be on the ready.
City officials have devised intricate plans to handle mass arrests should chaos break out on the streets, identifying jail facilities to house more than 975 arrested protesters and keeping courts open for 20 hours daily to process cases. Twelve judges will be working 10-hour shifts in the Cleveland Municipal Court to handle what could be a flood of cases. And to guard against violence, the authorities have been collecting intelligence on extremist groups to identify any possible threats. The killing of five officers in Dallas last week added urgency to the planning, as officials tightened their security plans for handling what was already expected to be a volatile atmosphere surrounding the nomination of Donald J. Trump.
Despite concerns about widespread unrest, city leaders said they are ready for the convention after more than two years of planning.
“We know that there will be people who will be wanting to spit on police officers, call them all kinds of nasty names,” Mayor Frank G. Jackson said in an interview. “We know that people come here just to agitate. They just don’t come here to be peaceful and have a point of view and say, ‘Thank you very much for letting me have my point of view’ and go home.”
The F.B.I has been looking into domestic and foreign terrorism threats but has found no direct threat from any group targeting the convention. But the agency will continue to gather information on groups and people who may be seeking to stir up trouble.
Agents have cast a wide net, looking into environmental activists, anarchists, white supremacists, black separatists, extremist gun rights groups whose members may have illegal weapons and sovereign citizens groups that believe they do not need to abide by federal laws.
F.B.I. agents and Cleveland police officers have also been knocking on local protesters’ doors and asking questions about their plans for the convention, a tactic that has alarmed some who think that the authorities are already being too aggressive. End Article
